Demonstration against forced sterilization of Roma women

A protest is being organized by the Association of Roma Women in Public Life Bódva Valley.
“The employees of Miskolc hospital obstetrics and gynecology department had turned an open letter to the Minister of Human Resources, among others, reporting the unjustified uterus and fallopian tubes removed on.
We find it shocking and unacceptable that, without their own will, Roma women could have undergone through these interventions without their knowledge, which results in their infertility.”
